Certifies nurses to be able to provide limited obstetrical ultrasounds with excellence of care. This price is currently an estimate based on another center's experience; price may vary after consultation with trainer as the training is tailored to the organization.
This is a multiple day online + live Zoom training in pregnancy clinic management. This training is done through the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates (NIFLA) and covers legal matters, medical standards, policies and procedures, and marketing, among other areas.
Equips our staff to provide consistency and excellence of care in accordance with our values. $145 to train the facilitator, $35 to train each volunteer (24.5 hrs/coursework per volunteer).
Educational materials in Spanish and English on pregnancy and pregnancy-related decisions for both mothers and fathers
Provides legal support and training to board and staff members; example: helps navigate the legal side of providing medical services through ultrasounds and ensures the center's legal compliance through on-site audits.
Provides resources specifically designed to support pregnancy centers; examples: grants, scholarships for clients, training for staff, networking with other pregnancy centers, and professional consultations.
Provides excellent training curricula and resources for board and staff, as well as consultations for pregnancy center development and sample documents (policies and procedures, etc.).
This is equipment we do not currently have for the ultrasound machine.

This is a long-term goal once we are more established in other areas to be able to pay our staff. This not only helps our currently all-volunteer staff to be able to spend more time and gain more training in their role, but also helps create stability within the organization and consistency of service quality by reducing staff turnover rate.
